Victoria College was selected a "Great College to Work For" by the Chronicle of Higher Education. The is the second year that the college received this honor.
253 institutions nationwide, including 88 two-year institutions participated in the annual survey. The results are based on a two-part assessment process. The first part is an institutional audit that captures the demographics and workplace policies. The second is a survey that is administered to faculty, administrators and professional support staff. Employee feedback is the primary factor in deciding if an institution receives recognition.
Victoria College improved on the previous year's performance by also being named to the "Honor
Roll" as one of the top four schools in its category of two-year institutions.
The Chronicle of Higher Education identified five categories where the college excelled: overall job satisfaction, respect and appreciation, supervisor or department chair relationship, collaborative governance and confidence in senior leadership.
